The 2nd Annual Kids Q Cooking for children ages six to 18 will also take place.
SAN ANGELO, Texas — Downtown San Angelo, Inc will host the Brews, Ewes & BBQ cook-off competition Saturday, March 6 at Neff’s Park, along the banks of the Concho River.
According to a Downtown San Angelo, Inc. press release, the Brews, Ewes & BBQ coof-off competition is sanction by the International BBQ Cooker Association.
The 2nd Annual Kids Q Cooking Competition of hamburgers and pork chops will also take place.
There will be three cooking categories, age six to 10 for hamburger, ages 11 to 15 for pork chop and the newly added bracket for ages 16 to 18 for pork chop.
The event will have live music, craft vendors and guest performers who will be named as the event approaches.
Judging for the Brews, Ewes & BBQ Cook-off will begin at 11 a.m. and will end with the award ceremony at 5:30 p.m.
